Northern Groove is Going Blonde

Hello! You may have seen me around town or gotten random emails from me so I figured it was probably about time I properly introduced myself. My name is Asia White and I am the newest addition to the Northern Groove team. There was way too much testosterone up in this whole Groove place so I thought I'd come and mix it up.

So a little about me... I am a Fort St. John native, a former homeschooler, Irish dancer, and once I played a man in the NPSS high school musical. I graduated from the Centre for Arts and Technology as a graphic designer, I love taking photos, and I know how to press a crease in pants. I like iced coffee, singing really loud, and organization. I don’t like watermelons.

I’m really excited to be a part of Northern Groove. I love the arts and culture scene - I think it’s one of the best things about Fort St. John! Being creative as a job is probably the best thing in the world. If you wanted to give me a title based on what I do, you could call me Community Support, Event Updater, Part-time Photographer and Designer, Russell’s Personal Assistant, or The Blonde Chick Who’s Just Always Around.

I like cool things. Who doesn’t like cool things? What I’m here for, is to find out about cool things that are going on and also to let you know about cool things going on.  I’ll do this by getting the word out on NorthernGroove.com.

I have email, Facebook, Twitter and sometimes a “Hey! You with the face!” works too. I’d love to hear from you and find out what’s happenin’ in your world.

So if you’ve only heard of me because of a random email I sent you, I do have face and I’d love to meet you one of these days! If you see me around town or hanging out at your concert, play, coffee shop, fundraiser or “etc”.

 I’m nice. I promise.
