Surface Of The Sun is Hot Music
Surface Of The Sun is a new solo music project by local musician Devon Eggers. The music combines complex melodies, heavy guitars and introspective lyrics to create a dynamic and rich sound scape. Drawing from various genres but centered on the heavier styling of Progressive and Art Metal/Rock, Devon takes an experimental approach to music using multiple layers and longer compositions that will draw you into the journey of each song. After receiving his Audio Engineering Diploma and spending a few years working in the music industry around Vancouver, he took some time to write, record and release his own album independently.
The full album is available at online stores including Itunes, Napster and Amazon. It has received sales around the globe and has been compared to other artists such as Tool, A Perfect Circle and Chevelle.
There are 3 full length songs available for streaming from the band webpages: www.myspace.com/surface_of_the_sun and www.facebook.com/surfaceofthesun.
