TWIN PEAKS

Our own CBC Radio front runners 'TWIN PEAKS' open for Canadian Country Singer Sean Hogan at the Cultural Centre Theatre tonight May 11th!

These are pretty exciting times for two Fort St John singers, Naomi Shore and Lindsay Pratt - aka Twin Peaks. Having just made it into the top 10 for CBC radio's nation wide contest Tracks on Tracks contest they're busy recording and rehearsing and getting ready for their first tour!

You can come out and support FSJ's favourite duo this Friday night when they hit the big stage at the Cultural Centre to open for Canadian Award Winning Country singer Sean Hogan and friends. If you haven't seen them yet, Friday nights the night.

And, you can also see our own Craig Brooks of Deere John sitting in on the kit as part of Hogan's band. With Brooks trademark showmanship and solid drumming added to Hogan's crooning country tunes, you know we're in for a good night!

Sean Hogan, one of Canada's inimitable dark horses in the Country Music Industry - is riding fast and steady towards the brass ring right now. Tagged as a balance between contemporary Country and cosmic cowboy, Hogan's songs, at once compelling, evocative, persuasive are remarkably crafted, fitting your ears and your soul as well as a pair of road worn boots fit your feet. Whether shaped by life's challenges or simply blessed with a natural gift, Hogan's voice, his music and his career have taken the scenic route, along the way gathering material and life lessons that make for remarkable songs and remarkable performances.

What a great show this is going to be! Twin Peaks and Craig Brooks join the Sean Hogan band show at 7:30 pm Friday night. (pssst..we've heard that there might be a surprise cameo appearance too) Get your tickets, put your best boots on, grab your partner and see you at the show.

Co-sponsored by Moose FM (listen to win tickets!)

Show starts at 7:30 and tickets on sale now!

Twin Peaks make Top 10 baby...

Who knew that a month ago, when Twin Peaks were nominated for the Green Couch Productions and CBC Radio 3\'s Tracks on Tracks contest that they would make it all the way to the Top 10.  Well guess what, they have!

Congratulations to Lindsay Pratt and Naomi Shore, the duo that is Twin Peaks for making it this far.  Now, they have made the top 10 and the contest is for the top 3 bands to travel on VIA Rail, perform at stops across the country, on the train and more so they still need your votes to make the top 3.

You can find out who the other top 10 bands are by going here - http://music.cbc.ca/#/blogs/2012/5/TRACKS-ON-TRACKS-The-Ultimate-Canadian-Rock-n-Rail-Adventure---Top-10-Artists

If you want to vote, click on VOTE NOW! and then choose up to 3 bands if you want, 1 of them being Twin Peaks.  If you only want to vote for 1 band, you can as well.

Plus, you can tell your friends, family and more.  Get everyone in your office to vote, get your kids to vote, get your cousin\'s to vote and yes, get yourself to vote as well.

We hope to see this amazing Fort St. John duo make it on the train.  We need to represent Northern B.C. to all those people all across this great country of ours.

Twin Peaks at The Breakfast Room

Lindsay Pratt and Naomi Shore are in a band called "Twin Peaks", and they have recently won this year's RocKIN the Peace Concert!  In the excitement of the aftermath, we've quickly organized a special show for these girls to perform at the incredible new venue, "The Breakfast Room".

These girls have been spending much time to create a fun-filled set of music filled with wonderful blended vocal melodies & harmonies.  I'm personally a huge fan of these girls, and am honoured to be able to see them at their very own show where we can enjoy their music even more than we already do!

Tickets are available online now below for $15, or at the door for $20.  Thank you for your continued support of live local music!  It's exciting to see the talent and efforts of our musical friends and family continue to grow!

The show will start at 7:30 on Thursday March 29th with an opening performer to-be-announced.

This Week At JD Fitzgerald's

JD Fitzgeralds has got some great entertainment coming up!

On Tuesday, September 20th, Naomi Shore and Lindsay Pratt are taking the Tuesday Night Performance Series stage. You may have heard them separately, but together Naomi and Lindsay are perfectly dynamic. Watch Lindsay pick a melody on the strings as Naomi tickles the piano keys or just simply listen to their voices harmonize. Beware... they sing their way into your heart. Plus, they are awesome fun together and you can count on a quirky show!

On Saturday, September 25th, it's Jam Time! Some of the JD Fitz favorites are gonna take the stage and play the night away. Head down to JD's to hear some local talent play some great music.

Stay tuned for more info about upcoming JD shows. Here's a hint as to what's coming soon: a show with a stone, a double d show, and a show by a guy who's name rhymes with Brian Shmenassey.
