Ryan "The Guy" Hennessey is live and onstage at Jackfish Dundee's come Friday, November 4th. The show starts at 7pm so write this one down for a great lead-in to the weekend.

There will be a brand new Chef's Special for the weekend to satisfy your cravings and a musician's special when Ryan starts playing that will satisfy everything else.

Ryan is a local legend and he is most often sighted at Open Mic on Wednesday night. But the guy has other talents besides just being generally awesome. He will play some slammin' tunes and his voice is like that of an angel - a rock 'n roll angel. Overall, if you know anything about Ryan and Jackfish Dundees's, you know it will be a great night of music and food and drinks all around!

Sasha Lewis is the folk/roots treasure of BC and she's coming back to Jackfish Dundee's on Thursday, October 27th. But this time she's bringing more friends - The Wild Oaks are Jesse Clarke and Jacob Verburg from Salmon Arm and people can't stop raving about them! 

Sasha is from Dunster, BC and her musical background is "inspiring" folk-rock. She has been nominated for the BC Interior Music Awards and has a definite flair for heartfelt songwriting. 

Jesse and Jacob started playing together and their name dropped out of the sky (literally, an acorn fell on Jesse's head). They describe their music as progressive indie folk and they write some great music that they get really excited about.

So instead of having to hear them through your computer speakers, head down to Jackfish Dundee's on the 27th at 8pm for Sasha Lewis and the Wild Oaks - a rootsy, folky, fabulous time. You don't want to miss this show (not only is it great music, you will earn serious indie cred)!

Jackfish has got another awesome live show coming up! On September 29th, come experience the live musical talents of Devon Coyote.

Devon grew up in the Okanagan and previously played in the duo "Devon and Kevin". His current solo career has taken off and he was nominated for “New Artist of the Year” at the 2009 B.C. Interior Music Awards. He plays a captivating show with his eclectic, foot stomping, sliding-steel guitar and harmonica driven rhythms. From rock 'n roll to folk and blues, Devon's diverse sound makes for a wildly exciting show.

From the guy who brought us Count Floyd Karaoke, Floyd is back but in a different way. He is going to be entertaining us with his crooning voice and great song selection.  This all happens on Wednesday, September 21st and the show starts at 8 pm. It's a girl's night at JFD's this Saturday, August 20th! Local hits, Naomi Shore and Lindsay Pratt are double the fun and double the musical talent. Both are quality musicians on their own but together it's a musical experience that will capture you. Tickling the keys of a piano, Naomi delivers a soulful song and harmony while Lindsay plays guitar/mandolin/the crowd with quirk and powerhouse vocals.

From love songs to kicky hits, the show with get you groovin' and smilin'. Check out Naomi Shore and Lindsay Pratt at Jackfish Dundee's on Saturday, August 20th at 8 pm.

It was an amazing time this week as Toby lead an Australian (with Canadian help) invasion of Jackfish Dundees. The music was lively and it was hard to stay in one's seat! She came a superbly talented band featuring drums, guitar, uke, upright bass, saxophone, clarinet, and some quality whistling. 

Toby is one of Fort St. John's favorite imports and it was a pleasure to see her live again.
