Andrew Bourcet is live and on the JD Fitz stage this week as one of the great local musicians featured in their Tuesday Night Performance Series.
Andrew's last show was a great mix of blues and funky acoustic sounds. He has extensive musical knowledge and tastes which makes for a very interesting set.
He is a local DJ and hard-working musician and doesn't disappoint when he gets behind a guitar and mic stand. The music is basically going to be great so it's definitely worth leaving your cocoon and having a great night out.

Maximum Fitness was bursting with people Friday night as the crowd danced to the beat. With drinks flowing, lights flashing and a little smoke, the mood was set and people were ready to party. Everyone was in good spirits and there was no doubt that with Joy "Yoji" Larstone, Andrew "Calmpound" Bourcet, DJ Kleen Kut aka Andrew Brody, and Serious Sam aka Sam Stanway up to DJ the floor was packed. It was an all around fun night with good dancing, great people and even some cookies!

JD Fitzgerald's is stoked to have local jack-of-all-music, Andrew Bourcet live and onstage for their next Tuesday Night Performance. On Tuesday, December 13th, at 8:30pm the music kicks off and Andrew will wow the crowd all evening.
Andrew is a fantastic example of local musicians who are as hard-working as they are passionate about their music. His album Thinktanked showcases a style he calls “Neuro-folk“, which stems from a drum and bass-heavy experimental music style called “Neuro funk”. It has a little bit of everything from funk and techno to house and jazz. He also plays a great acoustic set.
You couldn't ask for a better evening with great atmosphere at JD's and great live music by Andrew Bourcet. December 13th at 8:30pm is going to be a fantastic show, so treat yourself to a well-deserved night out!
Friday, December 9, 2011 head on down to Maximum Fitness to check out the newest venue for Electrical music in Fort St. John. Serious Sound Entertainment is putting on their first show of many with Dj’s Joy “Yoji” Larstone, Andrew “Calmpound” Bourcet, DJ Kleen Kut aka Andrew Brody and the main man of the night Serious Sam aka Sam Stanway.
There is a $10 cover charge but that is nothing for what the night will have to offer. With professional sound and lighting, including a 1500 watt subwoofer, derby lights and several different genres, that Sam best describes as Electrical music, these guys are going to bring Friday to the MAXX.
The show runs 8pm – 12am and there is also a food drive for Christmas being held. Bring five food items and you’ll find yourself with a free drink in hand.

Andrew Bourcet is a local musician who plays a genre called "Neuro - folk" which mixes in everything from funk, techno, house and jazz. His shows leave the room with an awesome energy and he's definitely a name you should remember!

On September 29th, Andrew Bourcet performed (as promised on the billboard) at Patch Java. It was the release of “Thinktanked“, and it had left the crowd glowing with self indulgence. Andrew gave a sensational performance, with Conner Brooks. The night ended later then originally scheduled but no one could really object , there was a lot of laughter and everyone just fed off all the energy in the coffee shop that night. The crowd was familiar to the alternative group of Fort St John, though a lot of new faces were found and new fans were made that night.
Come out to one of Fort St. John's newest eaterys and see local musician Andrew Bourcet live on Friday, November 4th! The show starts at 8:30 and will be alight until 11:00 or so. It's only $5 to experience some great music and Andrew is also recording a new EP just for the occasion with more remixes.

Local musician, Andrew Bourcet is playing a live show at Patch Java on Thursday, September 29th!
From Fort St. John, Andrew has been writing and performing his own compositions of music, poetry and performance art as a busker, recording at home, as well as performing some small gigs and a lot of open mics. For the last six years he's been working on his album Thinktanked, small section of the extensive material he's written. Andrew has opened for Harpdog Brown, Adam Kirschner and he is also a turntablist under the name Calmpound. He's peformed at On The Rocks and the last two Chodapalooza Festivals, spinning somthing he calls "Gypsywub" - a mix of reggae, moombahcore, Dub, Dnb and triphop, as well as raw mambo and jazz tracks. Andrew will be joined at Patch Java by Conner Brooks, a fantastic local drummer.
