The Ramblin' Quincys have just confirmed two more shows in Fort St. John at Egans Pub on Wednesday and Thursday on August 27, 28, at Egans Pub!
The Rambling Quincys are comprised of:
Jody Peck - Vocals, guitar, harmonica, accordion (Originally from Fort St. John!)
Ange Healy - Vocals, mandolin, kazoo
Brin Porter - Double bass, vocals, kazoo
When contemporary folk music meets Appalachian, bluegrass and old-time country you get an idea of The Ramblin' Quincys sound. Playing original tunes pulled from the careful observation of characters, experiences and the unpredictability of life, the stories presented by this dynamic new group cannot fail to connect people to the roots of music and storytelling. Fronting the group is Jody Anne Peck and Miss Ange Healy whose harmonies and musical interpretations can send shivers down your spine or make you get up and shake a leg. You can often find The Rambin' Quincys performing live with The Woolly Chaps, a diverse ensemble of musicians including stand up bass, violin, trumpet, and percussion. Each member adding to the story, creating and re-creating the sound for a unique musical experience matching the time and place.
This will be a great night of Fort St. John Entertainment!
