Holy jeez!!!! Last week's Open Mic was outstanding!!! Like really really
really really good!!! Thanks to everyone who came out, the place was off
the hook!! There were some new faces too, which was totally great. i was
feelin the positivity all night...which meant i didn't get home til 2 am. So the
next time you see me having that much fun, remind me that i might be working the next day!

Steve Ryan is our headliner. YAAAY!!! Can't wait to hear ya, brother!
As always, i encourage you all to meet and greet each other, in person or
online. We've had some fantastic collaborations and I can visualize all these great players getting together. If you're having trouble finding out who or where someone is just ask and i'll hook you up.
Remember that this email group format can be used to RSVP and to throw ideas out to each other.
Before i forget, if you're wanting to headline lemme know which wednesday you're thinking of so we can plan for it. i don't want to leave anyone out. The headline performer for the evening should be prepared to play for a 45
min or an hour, starting at 10 or 1030. As with all these things there will be some flexibility....we'll be all bend-y and stuff :)
Russ and I are doing our best to keep the night full of performance opportunities while still being mindful of the 11:30 stop time. Having said that, i realize it's up to us to make sure that the gear is ready to go for an 8pm start. We only ask that you have your instrument ready to go as well, tuned up, patch cord etc. etc. and that you 'hover' around the stage area from time to time to check and double check where you are on the list. It's kind of brutal when i'm asking the crowd to welcome someone onstage and that person is outside having a smoke while their guitar sits in a case under the table!!!
