An amazing art exhibit is yours to behold at the North Peace Cultural Centre this week. Running from May 4 - 8, "Postcards from the East" is the latest collection of Barb Daley's work. The show is set up in the loft and is available for your enjoyment, free of charge.
Creating art journals is a passion for Barb. She has encouraged fellow artists, school children and women's groups to put their ideas and thoughts into art journalling as records of their life experiences.
Barb's trips to India, and most recently China, moved her to make travel journals of her own experiences. The sights and sounds of the East inspired her and stimulated Barb's unique sense of shapes and colours. She is bursting with Eastern visions, and these works allow her to share some of those images.
Please come down to the North Peace Cultural Centre and experience the magic that is 'Postcards from the East' inspired by the Peace region's own 'Daley Mama'.
