Call for Noise: Bands Needed for Travscend 2010

Monday, 08 February 2010 23:53 Written by Ben Marsh

Travscend Border2_1.jpgIt is with great sadness and loss of sense of direction that we inform you that the legendary Resurrect Christ Foundation will not be playing at this year's Travscend. Due to this and a few other cancellations the event is looking for a few more original bands to play.  Can you help bring back Jesus from the dark realms of interstellar space? If it is just you and a guitar or herdy gurty that is fine too. The one thing we ask is that you bring your art (no cover bands). If so, call Ben at 250-271-0136 to book your spot on stage!

Travscend is scheduled for 7pm on Saturday, February 20 at The Lido, and is an annual event meant to showcase original music and art and to honour Travis Marsh, a creative young musician who passed away suddenly 2 years ago. For more information on the show click here.

The Resurrect Christ Foundation shall rise on the twentieth day of the second month of the current year, the Dark Lord willing. I've been talking to my broker and he thinks that this is feasable due to the currenct upward tread that we have seen in the Pushkar markets outside the Brahma temple where several sightings of the five legged cow have been reported. So, in the light of things, it looks very positive.
