This is a reminder to all you Peace Region music makers that the deadline for RocKIN the Peace 2010 is fast approaching.  The deadline is one week from today - next Friday, February 12. So if you want to enter, but haven't done so yet, get recording!

This is the 6th year of the Peace Region's annual original music search and once again the lookout is on for some great local talent to grace the stage of the North Peace Cultural Centre.

All styles of music are welcome ... rock, pop, gospel, blues, country....whatever your style is, as long as it's original music!  Simply submit an entry form and a demo of up to 3 original songs before the deadline.

This is a fantastic opportunity for local musicians to gain exposure and experience.  All finalists will have their winning song submission included on the RocKIN the Peace 2010 CD and will perform live at the RocKIN the Peace concert at the North Peace Cultural Centre on March 13, 2010.  The winner will be determined by audience voting at this show.  If this isn't enough, the grand prize is $1500!

Entries can be submitted online or dropped off at the following sponsor locations: Moose FM, 101.5 the Bear, and Energy FM in Fort St. John.
