As a part of The City of Fort St. John’s Spirit Week Celebrations, we are bringing in The Six String Nation Guitar to The Lido on November 23rd, 2009. Please find the information about the guitar, it’s owner, it’s travels and all contact information. We are making arrangements for a total of 14 local performers to play one song each with the guitar on The Lido stage. Each person will have originated AKA been born in one of our nation’s provinces or territories and is now living here in FSJ.
We are still looking for accomplished local guitar players (that can sing) that have originated from Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavit, Quebec and Nova Scotia. If you could put this out to our local music community, it would be greatly appreciated and a great opportunity to be a part of something National for some of our local musicians.
Hey! I heard somewhere that Fort St. John is “The Music Capital”…this has got to fit into that agenda… This is going to be really cool!
