Warner Music Canada recording artists Billy Talent have just announced the launch of their 2010 Canadian tour in support of the platinum album Billy Talent III. The band will begin their 19-date tour, with special guests Alexisonfire and Against Me!, on March 3, 2010 in Victoria at Save On Foods Memorial Centre and heads east, ending in the band’s hometown of Toronto, Ont. on March 28 where they return to play the Air Canada Centre.
The announcement of the Canadian tour comes on the heels of the group’s just completed headlining tour of clubs across the United States. Billy Talent III was released recently in the U.S. on Roadrunner Records and debuted as the #1 New Artist on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.
One of the stops on this cross Canada tour will be at the Encana Events Centre in Dawson Creek, BC. The show is set for Tuesday, March 9, 2010 (Doors open at 5:45pm and show is at 6:45pm). Tickets are (incl GST) $31.50 for general floor admission and $44.00 for reserved bowl seating (applicable convenience fees and service charges may apply and varies by point of purchase).
